Sara takes joy in life as often as possible. Mostly, that comes from being outdoors, playing with her dogs, singing and playing music with her children and friends, and writing poetry.

Sara is a life-long leader and educator. Since 2010, she has been in private practice as a mental health counselor, having earned her Masters degree in Holistic Studies (mental health and holistic leadership) at Salve Regina University in beautiful Newport, RI. Prior to earning her Master’s degree, Sara has been advocating for women, babies and families in her work as a Childbirth Educator and Professional Birth Assistant since 2002. She has training in herbalism, Reiki (master-teacher), and is an experienced Yoga teacher of traditional Hatha yoga. Sara identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA++ community and practices anti-racism. Sara weaves Intuitive Spirituality into her work, making space for clients to develop their own unique spiritual life as part of inner work.

Through Corner of Grace and Change, Sara is able to offer personal consulting, counseling, and coaching to individuals, couples, and groups, both in person and through media connections. Sara has experience in speaking to groups ranging in size from 12-100+ people, and enjoys presenting to and working with groups and organizations. For more about these services, please go here.

Sara is developing new experiences designed to cultivate and create centering and growth experiences through retreat, guided introspection, meditation training, and will launch a formal training in Modern Thaumaturgy in Spring 2024, culminating in a certificate of completion and the title of Transformational Thaumaturgist (TM).
